How To Create Beach Wavy Hair

Lately, I have been obsessing over beach-wavy hair, why? Because it’s fun, easy to create, requires little to no maintenance and still looks fabulous over time. With this look, there’s no need to spend time on retouching your hair daily. After a couple of days, the curls will begin to fall, but the fallen curls will leave you with a stylish and effortless-looking wave. Check out my recent beach wave hair and a 5 step guide on how to create this summer chic hair-do

Step 1: Start with clean hair, section in four parts. Use heat protectant to avoid heat damage

Step 2: Take one subsection of hair and curl away from your face using a 1” curling wand. Make sure to leave the tips of your hair straight, or uncurled.

Step 3: Repeat step 2 throughout the entire head, curl away from the face, or alternate the direction of each subsection of hair for a more “undone” beach wave look.

Step 4: Finger comb your hair thoroughly, finish with a workable or lightweight hairspray.

Products:

  1. Moroccan oil hair spray

  2. For dry hair: light weight serum

  3. Ag cosmetics heat protectant spray

  4. Rat tail comb for sectioning

  5. Sectioning clips

  6. 1" curling wand
