What exactly is a curtain bang?
The curtain bang is a type of fringe or bang that is cut at an angle and styled in a way that frames the face, consisting of shorter hairs at the center of the bang, while the shorter angle of hair gradually gets longer as the hair spreads across the forehead and away from the center.
The curtain bang gets its name from the image and idea of curtains draping a window, well the curtain bang is designed to beautifully frame and drape the face accentuating, the cheekbones, eyes and eyebrows. The curtain bang is a modernized and elevated tweak from the general bangs that we know of such as side bangs, front bangs etc.
Curtain bangs are my favorite go-to style because they look super effortless and natural, fun and flirty, all around it embodies my everyday style. I also love the idea that I can wear bangs that aren't too heavy, doesn't look childish but instead it provides a very feminine yet sophisticated look. See for yourself!
